Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 4, 2026
Our commitment
Mlýn JUDr. L. Radimský, spol. s r.o. wants everyone to be able to browse, evaluate and buy our audio plugins, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings.
Standard we are working to
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
Conformance status
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means most of the standard is met, but we have not verified all of it. We are not claiming full conformance, because parts of WCAG cannot be confirmed without testing with real assistive technology, which we have not yet done. The section below says exactly what was and was not checked.
How this was assessed
A documented self-assessment was carried out on 4 August 2026 — not a third-party audit. It combined automated checks scripted against the live site with manual inspection in a desktop browser.
Pages tested: the home page, a product page, the account pages both signed out and signed in, the cart, the checkout, and the legal pages.
Success criteria checked: 1.1.1 non-text content, 1.3.1 info and relationships, 1.3.5 identify input purpose, 1.4.3 contrast (minimum), 2.2.2 pause/stop/hide, 2.3.3 animation from interactions, 2.4.1 bypass blocks, 2.4.2 page titled, 3.1.1 language of page, 3.3.2 labels or instructions, and 4.1.2 name, role, value.
Problems found and fixed on the same day:
- Text on orange buttons was white, measuring 2.84:1 against the required 4.5:1. It is now black, measuring 6.98:1. This affected the main call-to-action on the home page and the download buttons in your account.
- Muted grey body text measured 4.10:1, below the 4.5:1 minimum. The colour was lightened and now measures at least 4.87:1 on every background shade used on the site.
- There was no “skip to main content” link. One has been added as the first item you reach with the keyboard.
- Several pages, including the signed-in account pages, had no main landmark for screen readers to jump to. They do now.
- The account page had no top-level heading. One has been added for screen readers.
- The newsletter email field had only placeholder text, which is not a label. It now has a real label and an autocomplete hint.
- The newsletter success and error messages were not announced to screen readers. They now are.
- Reduced-motion support was incomplete — only one stylesheet honoured it, and most animations ignored it entirely.
Reduced motion
If your operating system is set to reduce motion, this site now switches animations off: scroll reveals, the page-transition wipe, the drifting particles, and the moving elements in the header and hero. A short note appears on the home page confirming it is in effect, so you can tell the setting was picked up rather than guessing. Content that was previously revealed by an animation is shown outright, so turning motion off never hides anything.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than imply they do not exist:
- Not tested with real assistive technology. No screen reader (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) has been used to walk the site. Automated checks confirm that names, labels and landmarks exist; they cannot confirm the experience makes sense in use.
- Not tested on mobile or touch devices, and not tested with a keyboard end-to-end through a real purchase.
- Zoom and reflow (1.4.10) and focus order (2.4.3) were not assessed.
- Image alternative text has not been reviewed for quality. Every image has an alt attribute, but whether each one is genuinely useful is a judgement no automated check can make.
- Payment steps provided by Stripe and PayPal are rendered by those companies and are outside our control.
Feedback
If you hit a barrier on this site, please tell us — it is the fastest way for us to find and fix it. Email contact@sinemill.com and describe the page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 10 working days.
Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can raise the matter with the relevant national authority. In the Czech Republic, market surveillance for the Accessibility Act is handled by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), coi.cz. If you are elsewhere in the EU, you may contact the equivalent authority where you live.
About this statement
Prepared on 4 August 2026, based on the self-assessment described above. It should be reviewed at least once a year, and again whenever the site changes substantially. This statement will be updated if a full audit or assistive-technology testing is carried out.
